We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Class Teacher to join our team in Riga, Latvia. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school’s values and commitment to high-quality education.

Qualifications

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching KS1 students within the English National Curriculum.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid EU or British/Australian passport is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
