Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students aged 11-18, following the British curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
  • Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and events.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Contribute to the school community through participation in events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching PE to students aged 11-18, preferably within a British curriculum school.
  • Strong knowledge of physical education principles, sports coaching, and fitness training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
